Rijeka, once an industrial city and now the city of the collapsed industry, following the economic trends of the Croatian coast, is turning more and more to tourism, creating opportunities for generating an increasing number of cultural programs that could contribute to the tourist offer.

This project wants to create a cultural centre of the city which, as an epicentre of cultural contents, would have a positive impact not only on the city’s economic and cultural sphere, but it would also encourage processes of regeneration of urban tissue throughout the wider area along Rječina.
